Expedia SDE II offer negotiation
I’m supposed to discuss an offer with HR next week. What should I expect? I’d be moving from Canada, have a little over 2 years experience and make about 110CAD currently. I have a lot of trouble getting interviews with big companies so also wondering if Expedia would help in that regard.
2 YOE and 110k TC in Canada....is pretty good. If you don't mind me asking, which company you were working before...?
Salaries are going up in the city, plenty of places will pay that much

Depends on what you want to make. your salary isn’t dependent on the employer, it’s depending on what you think you’re worth. how much you need to live. and whether the company is willing to support your requests for your salary requirements.
In my opinion the way Expedia delivers no SDE is worth that. Maybe that is because you all can’t deliver to your potential at Expedia or everyone they have now sucks... but companies we have acquired have better technology than we do
