FANG - benefits (paternal leave)
Are all benefits available right after you start? My current company has 8 weeks paternity leave but you have to be here a year. I am considering applying with Google, and I understand their paternity leave is even better - 12 weeks. Is there any waiting period for it or is it available day 1?
12 weeks at fb from day 1
12 for men and 20 for women at Microsoft. No minimum tenure needed.
BTW Google moves so slow with hiring process, your unborn kid may be celebrating his/her first birthday before your first day at the company ....

Side note about G/M, you can actually join after the baby is born and still take leave until 12 months from birth

FB is 17.5 weeks, spread however you want over a year, but you do have to join before the baby is born
6 weeks at Amazon with at least 1 year tenure.
