FB E4 bar
I interviewed recently l. The feedback indicated by recruiter is good. But did not pass hiring committee. Recruiter indicating E4 headcount is low, so bar is really high. Are facebook still hiring people with less than 5 yoe?

Medium and hard. Not so hard on coding. I suck at system design.

Yes we do. But e4 is basically 2yoe. If you have 4yoe and are not solid e4/low e5, we might pass.

I got an e4 offer with 5yoe (international experience) Does that mean I was downleveled? Or is experience based on the company you've worked for as well? Seems odd if it's generally 2yoe

Reason is some bs like really close but did not pass the bar. This recruiter is experienced, won’t say anything useful
