especially for equity. levels.fyi shows a broad range in Seattle with many values around 1.5M, but recruiter says 1.05M max and can’t go up. base: 225 bonus: 20% signon: 90k initial Rsu: 1.05M Have one competing offer that is high on equity, but Facebook seems more stable at this moment location: seattle

The spread between 1.05 and what I saw for Seattle positions on levels.fyi was high. 2M was highest and might be typo/outlier, but saw large cluster of 1.5M
1M definitely isn’t max, but it could be the max they think you’re worth.
Yeah not everyone gets exceptions.
I’m L6 at Amazon and got a higher offer (10~15% across base, rsu, and bonus). I had a competing offer from Google.

I was told 1.1mm is max. Anything above is possible with an exception I guess

1.1 is the max I got with a strong competing offer. Your base can also go up to 240 and sign up to 100k. I don’t know if 2M is possible.
YOE I know people getting 1.2 M and 1.3 M
