Recruiter has reached out to me about a M1/M2 role in the FB infrastructure team. I'm nervious this might be classified as more of a ops / PM job versus engr mgr role. I presume jobs are classified differently within FB? Technical versus Non-Technical? And I presume this makes a big difference in the TC? When I asked the recruiter she said this was a technical mgr role - but she didn't answer if this was an engr mgr role. Is there a difference at FB - and what FB verbiage should I ask the recruiter to make sure the role is classified as engr mgr?

It’s probably either to be an engineering manager or a technical program manager or a product manager or a production engineering manager . Ask .
She mentioned this was a technical mgr role in the infrastructure team. But that didn't really answer my question. Maybe I am overly concerned about how the job is classified. Is there a big different from TC, refresher stock, etc in how the various technical mgr roles are classified?
