FB data engineer vs production engineer
hi, would love to hear the procs and cons being a data engineer vs production engineer in terms of career growth, work scope and compensation, thx

Production engineering is a lot of fire drills and long hours. Not worth the money unless you just love fixing prod issues for whatever reason. There’s not a lot of room for growth. FB might be different though.
Don’t prod engineers make more (same as SWE?)
