Yeah they hired a bunch of folks from Qualcomm to build specialized hardware for video encode/decode and ML inference. They wrote a blog post about it.

Only good if they actually setup an interview. I have heard from many and experienced myself that HR will contact you n forget you or best...will schedule a phone call but never bothers anyways.
Yep. My experience has been disappointing as well, but on SW side. The recruiter requested a meeting through LinkedIn only to tell me that they had no openings. WTH.... 🤣

Does FB infra has ASIC roles, really? I know other teams at FB make their own ASIC. But I think FB infrastructure team does not make ASIC. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
