It seems HR is deliberately delaying my offer letter. I have an email confirmation but nothing else. Is it proper for companies like Facebook to keep candidates hanging and also does Facebook renege offers like this?
I received my verbal offer 3 days after on-site and received written 2 days later. My understanding once they have your verbal acceptance of offer numbers only then do they get that signed off by a director for a written offer. Directors might just be busy.

In the verbal offer, do they ask what you’re currently making or do they offer you what they think? Also, is this the time to negotiate? Thanks!

How many days has it been? Usually getting an offer signed takes time, sometimes weeks
It's been more than a week now.
I would suggest to wait few more days then ping recruiter on Monday and ask when shall I expect the formal offer?
