I was lucky enough to get offers from both of them. Now what matters is the team. Can anyone give feedback from the following teams? I know FB does bootcamp, but I'm taking to teams that have head count. I have 3 years of experience. E4 for FB and E3 for Goog. Google: YouTube YouTube Kids Google Maps Google Cloud Platform API Services Firebase Facebook: Messenger Instagram Whatsapp Any other teams you guys would recommend?
How did you find head count for Facebook?
Told my recruiter that it’s between FB and Google so he’s introducing me to teams i’m interested in that have headcount since teams are my deciding factor
FB. If you don’t mind, can you share your preparation method?
~300 LC questions mostly easy/medium questions, reviewed platform specific interview questions, did big companies last so I’d be warmed up from my previous interviews, also studied behavioral questions and made sure my problem solving process is sound
Don’t they ask leetcode hard during interviews?
I’m pretty much in the exact same situation. Is location a factor for you? Sounds easier to be in SF for google because of their SF office & San Bruno office
I was in a similar situation last month, chose FB. But I was iOS so G was never my first choice, though I did like Maps team a lot. It’ll be funny if we’re in the same boot camp, I postponed my start date to have a long vacation.
OP, did you end up making a decision and getting your final comp numbers?
Yes, I ended up choosing FB. I ultimately got downleveled by Goog to L3 because of YoE. Main reason I chose FB is because of career trajectory, FB has a very energetic culture, and has much smaller teams that move much faster. Final numbers were 160/300/100 which Goog was willing to match
Is this base + stocks + joining bonus?
