Do you own fb stock?
Does it matter? Others will go down soon.
Facebook is a house of cards.
If Facebook disappeared no one will miss it
If you said that three years ago I would have thought you were nuts. Now however it is quite clear that the mental health of the nation would be better off if Facebook went away.
The stonks go up, the stonks go down You canβt explain that

FB has reached user saturation. Easy growth is done. And political scandal.
TLDR: Unless Facebook comes up with an innovative plan, realizes their main product is spiraling, and uses the extreme in house talent they have to make it happen fast, serious competitors will pile on and cause more trouble for the organization, and talent will start leaving. Facebook is experiencing IBM syndrome. Its best days for its main product, the site, are far behind them. With its new product, Instagram, they face the same problems with the fake news issue with a significantly worse exception. There is a serious list of competitors on the table unlike with the main site 10 years ago. Pinterest is offering corners for people that simply are not available on Instagram. Beyond Pinterest, other organizations are providing higher quality avenues for more specific uses. Twitch is declaring itself king of streaming games. LinkedIn has made a comfortable corner for professionals who dislike stereotypical Facebook activity (all the while they need to watch out, too, given the direction that activity has taken recently). Twitter is a full blown political social media powerhouse until further notice. As if all of that wasn't enough, people are realizing the importance of privatizing data. They're less willing to share it. Organizations have significantly less use of truncated information. Finally, Facebook is simply not trust worthy in the eyes of the public. 2018 was a dismal year for their reputation. People are posting less. Fewer people even care to have the app and will just check occasionally via the browser- no push notifications to boost traffic. And, the average population age of Facebook is not attracting younger users. Teens regularly deem Facebook as "that's for old people". Facebook has a lot of work to do if they plan to be the powerhouse they used to be.
Why was SNAP dropping like a rock? Same reason i guess. Stagnating user growth, slowing revenue growth and people in general distrusting them
Slow growth
