Facebook Bootcamp getting around

(New to Bay Area) Will be staying at the Homewood Suites in Palo Alto during the Bootcamp. -How can I get to and from the Facebook campus in Menlo Park? -What does the first week of bootcamp entail? (rest of my bootcamp is in my base city) -Are there any technologies or tools that I should familiarize with, to prepare for the bootcamp? -Also, any suggestions are welcomed-for places to explore around in the evenings ! ^_^

I can’t give you complete answers on here, but here’s a start: - We have shuttles. Check out the Shuttle Map tool. - Welcome talks + HR shit - Depends on your role, but generally no.

Oh yeah, I forgot they don’t give Workplace access ahead of time. Sorry, it’s been many years for me.

Yes, they did. I'm from a different location, only the first week is going to be at the headquarters.

Please relax as far as bootcamp is concerned. The purpose of bootcamp is to prep you. Not for you to prep for it :) Definitely ask for shuttle schedules regarding the commute. Areas to explore - PA downtown has some nice restaurants and cafes. You can always taje the caltrain into the city which has a tons of different kind of places to explore. Or rent a car and drive down to santa cruz etc. Depends on if you have weekend days that you can use to explore..
