Facebook Business Growth Strategy

I think FB is already quite saturated since they have been doing such a great job but I am just wondering how FB can continue to grow in the years ahead? Are they going to get into the Cloud Computing business just like AWS and Azure as well?

FB is in a losing spiral. Only oldies using it nowadays.

The rest use Instagram! Oh wait.

Half of my friends don’t have profiles anymore. Fuck Facebook and their “social” platform.

OP, come on man, Facebook getting into cloud? Scale-making on the cloud is not something anyone with money can do. Facebook runs their own DCs and infra but creating and selling cloud services is very different. There's not going to be another AWS and Azure (maybe GCP). Check this out to learn why: https://youtu.be/Lv8fDiTNHjk They could acquire / build the best consumer tech over the next 50 years but cloud is different.

The stuff they do sell is a kind of cloud service. But getting into selling infrastructure probably doesn’t make sense.

How does getting into the cloud business fit with our mission?

Microsoft AmlEvil Feb 24, 2018

Like, dollars? Actually, there’s no money in the cloud itself, it’s all in the cloud services you can sell (e.g., Salesforce). But, then again, Facebook is already doing that.
