I got an offer for entry level data analyst role for TC 130K at MLP. I have 2 yoe at Amazon. What do you guys think about the offer?

Come from the guy who’s company does not care about users and their privacy. And are now spending their $ on a bunch of lawyers and lobbyists. Did you hear yourself before generalizing.

TC 130k 😱 or just base 130k?

Why are people making negative comments towards op? Not everyone is a swe with 350k tc. 130k tc for entry level analyst is good. Work hard and study and you can get 200-250 tc as a DS in a few years

Yeah that’s true but he said it’s an entry level role. His role at Amazon matters as well. Could be jus. Some associate operations role. It depends on OP skill set. If he is proficient in python / sql / has basic statistical analysis skills (hypothesis testing, basic regression) then I would aim for more product analyst / product DS roles that will pay 180-220k.
Hi can you tell me the position you interviewed for? I have a feeling I’m interviewing for the same position, and I’m hesitating to go for onsite. Seems like it won’t be a huge salary bump.
130k TC for Data Analyst role is the norm. I assume OP is a BA entry (L4 or L5) with a TC of around 90k in Seattle. You have more growth room with FB.
