Facebook Data Scientist Questionnaire HELP!!
Hey Blinders Need your help urgently!! A Data Science Recruiter from Facebook mailed me for the position - Data Scientist, Analytics ( Univ Grad). I have got a questionare with few basic questions. However I am stuck at 1 of 'em. "Are you actively interviewing, and do have any deadlines( pending offers, etc.)" Honest answer: Yes I am interviewing actively, and I have accepted a full time offer, from the place I am interning with right now. However, how should I reply to this question? Should I write about the currenly accepted offer? Or hide it till we get to an HR round for negotiation? They've mentioned that next steps will be provided based on my response of the questionnaire. Hence it's quite important. Any help would be really appreciated!! I am currently a grad student, will be graduating in May 2020. TC - 100K Current Location: Dallas YOE - 4 Years (In India, before MS)
You tell them you are actively recruiting and have exploding offers on the table. Therefore, ask them to expedite their recruitment process. High likelihood they will. Companies like candidates that have been vetted. And there's no better indication of you being vetted than if another company is aggressively trying to hire you with an exploding offer. Good luck
