Anyone has info of TC in London for E6 or above. From reading here it appears London compensation is a fair amount lower than MPK, so wondering if it's even worth going through the process. YoE: 13 TC: £255k
OP, your TC sounds amazing for London.
London? Still not enough.
Where are you getting that high TC? Twitter/Google staff+?
Either that or software engineer/tech lead at a smallish hedge fund. A number of those paying that around Mayfair.
Infra dev at a prop trading firm.
You can discuss the range right away with a recruiter. A friend did that for a different role. Pretty sure FB would at least match your compensation, including stock. The lowest base for an E6 is £120k + 20% base bonus. I don’t know about normal E6 hire stock offers, but it should be easy to get $500+ at E6+

Off topic. What's the quality of life in London at your TC. I've mostly seen lower numbers.
It depends on what you want in terms of accommodation - if you want to live in a nice house, you'd still need to spend 1MM-5MM, which my comp doesn't allow as I pay 50%+ tax for a fair amount of the comp. My comp allows to not have to worry about day to day spending, going out, travelling 2 times a year to nice destinations and own a nice 2/3 bedroom flat - just not in a prime area. Also, if you have kids and want to put them in a private school, you'd pay between 15k and 30k per year, which if you have 2 kids, you can see it's not easy.
Thanks for the response!
