What's it like? What's the workflow like? Do you struggle with painful stuff like ticketing systems, build tools, change requests? Is management supportive giving you free will or are you micromanaged? Is it stressful and is that because of workload, colleagues or management? I have checked out Glassdoor but would be good to get some more insight.
They take privacy and security very seriously.
I'm not sure if you are serious š¤
I'm serious. Did you know they hash and salt most of their passwords?
Our team doesn't track work. Most engineers are free to work on whatever they want. The manager usually has no idea what we're working on. His job to get is what we need to do a better job and focus on growing/promoting us. We do thorough code reviews. I'm not sure what your question about builds is. If you're asking about operations, it depends on the team. If you design your software well, it's operationally simple. It's not stressful at all. All you have to do is deliver results consistently. If you choose your work wisely, you can get away with 35 hours a week.
So how do you pick what feature/bug/tech debt to work on?
We pick work based on goals for our team. Tech debt isn't a goal, but is something you make room for on your own, because it will screw with your WLB eventually if you don't.
