Does anyone know anything about Enterprise Engineering at Facebook? Is it different than SWE? Is the compensation different?
Do partner engs also get less stock?
Same base, less rsu. We work on internal tools that help different departments like finance, supply chain, culinary, transportation etc.
Will PM roles in Enterprise Engineering also have less comp than other PM roles in FB?
Yes, comp (in most cases) and RSUs are lower. Also, I wouldn’t recommend joining the Enterprise Engineering team as a PM at all- it is a very poorly defined role to begin with, and the org in general is very politicised. Also, you will not be eligible to switch to other teams in FB as a PM (you will need to go through interview loops like an external candidate and you get down levelled, if at all you clear the interview loop.
How is an SWE title within enterprise org like?
Is the information applicable to all Facebook sites ?
