Facebook Green Card Policy
How many days or months after you join does Facebook start green card processing? Is there any stipulations on performance, tenure or manager approval? Does it vary by role like Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Network Engineer, Operations Engineer or Production Engineer? Is there any self service tool or does yours manager have to initiate the process?

You can apply day one in the team, I did so. Non swe, other type of engineer.

It's not a big deal at facebook. You can start the process day 1 of joining a team. The company goes out of its way to help your life go well so you can focus on work.

Can u do it if you have OPT or do you need to have H1-B?
Software engineer here, started the process 4 months after joining, even while I was still working on a remote office. They are super supportive, as long as you make it through bootcamp and have decent performance for a few months
Thanks would you know if this is consistent across roles? Also is it a self service process with manager approval or does your manager have to nominate you for green card?
Pretty sure it's self-serve with manager approval. I've seen a lot of folks in other roles get great green card support too, such as product quality analysts.
