Facebook NYC vs Unicorn startup
I got offers from Facebook NYC and Oscar Health. Thoughts on working in a unicorn startup vs satellite office in a big tech company ? How is the WLB in Facebook NYC Office ?

I'd say TC should be around the same for FB. If that's the case then definitely FB. Oscar has raised 860 million so their evaluation is going to be quite high already. At a latge stage startup you should be getting 2x equity at least over a public company.
Depending on your fb offer level, you may have a significantly greater TC with liquid rsus. Wlb is pretty good at Oscar though.
And how’s the experience working at a unicorn ?
FB no brainer. I have been at bunch of these startups. Since u are going on late stage you won't be making much money. Not worth it
There is fewer senior engineers in NYC. It is hard if the core of your team is in MPK. There are still NY-only teams though. WLB might be about the same, but you may have to adjust your work hours for MPK time.
Just going through blind posts, it seems ppl also work during weekends in Facebook. Is that true ? How’s it in the NYC Office ?
