My wife works at facebook and they offer oculus headsets for employees to test/dogfood. She was going to get one but she told me that to bring it home she needs to sign a doc saying that it must be kept secret and no one else is allowed to use it, or even see it. At the time it was the oculus go, im not sure if/when quest will be available to dogfood. But I would like to know how serious is this secrecy policy, how can they figure out if I used it? and can she be fired for allowing me to play?
It’s serious.
the Go is no longer a prototype, does the same policy apply?
It's not just hardware. Software being tested is confidential too.
Dude just get an oculus go for 200 bucks at Best Buy. U work at sales force. I’m sure u can afford one....
yep, i was more interested on the quest which was not released yet tho :P
