Hi I am a new grad and not familiar with general terms and conditions in offer letter. Probationary period is for six months, is it fine or facebook generally offers everyone this time period. Is there any kind of risk. I am excited for bootcamp but my recruiters hasn't spoken about it.. Wont i get a chance for the bootcamp. Fyi I just received the offer letter today. Base salary : 44,000 euro per year for the role of integrity analyst. Please evaluate and guide me. Thank you for your time and patience.
Thanks for your inputs. I am based in Dublin. Its involves programming but exactly a software engineer. When I spoke to few people, they said they have bootcamp people joining in here. How am i suppose to confirm, is there any way.. How you were contacted regarding the bootcamp?.
The recruiter who presented the offer should be able to confirm whether your position goes through either the full bootcamp process, the shorter bootcamp process for preallocated engineers (basically the first half without the team matching 2nd half as of then I was there) or doesn't go to boot camp
Okay. I shall get in touch with Recruiter. Thanks once again for sharing the details
Is integrity analyst a software engineering or related role? Boot camp is basically just a software engineering thing. Six month probation wasn't mentioned for me but am in US where firing is easy; your title being Dublin is that where you are based? Wouldn't surprise me if that is standard in EU based offer letters given (by reputation) the stronger labor laws there but hopefully someone who works or used to work at Facebook in an EU country can confirm that
