Finished my Onsite for FB TPM role last week. the recruiter sent an email after 2 days saying she is waiting for all the feedback to be entered and she will be in touch soon. Sent the recruiter a follow up email yesterday, the reply was little confusing. It says all the feedback is in and she is waiting Hiring Manager for next steps and she will be in touch soon. Any idea what is going on ? What stage the process is in like has it gone through debrief and waiting for Hiring Manager to see if he wants to go through candidate review ? I think i did well on 4 interviews and so so in one of them. Thanks for help.
you don't need to know the stage. You just need to know that the recruiter is still holding on your case which is a very good sign. If they rejected you, you should have known by now. Your chance is still up. The longer it takes, the higher the chance is if the recruiter is still working on it.
She literally told you what is going on. The feedback is collated and your package was sent to the hiring manager for approval/rejection.
Possibly, they are looking into other prospects lined up as well. They are holding you for now, so its a good sign and a semi-bad one lol It honestly mean that you are a strong candidate, but they feel that there could be something missing from your skills/experiences that they could find w/ someone else. It usually takes 1 week sometimes. Probably just finishing the other interviews
Looks like you were right :) Got the feedback today. I was not able to make it. Got Yes from 3 of the interviews- System Design , Technical retrospective and Leadership. And mixed signals on program management and dealing with highly cross functional programs. Maybe will try again after sometime.
Thanks for giving an update on the thread
Thanks guys for the insights. I will update once i hear back from recruiter again. Looks like atleast another week of wait
What were the interviews like? What did they ask? I have a loop coming up too. All the best
I felt the loop was okay, 2 of them on system design and 3 of them on Program Management / Leadership and collaboration
