I wonder how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Edit: serious advice for our low-level Facebook employee Blind friends. Be very careful when they ask you to destroy evidence. It’s seldom the big guys who take the fall for this stuff. They always blame it on the little guys.
- New EMVH32moreThis rabbit hole is deep. Notice there is very little detailed coverage about this bomb shell of a case. We’ll fix that part by talking about it. But in the meantime, this is huge!
- I knew a little about some of the unethical data Facebook was offering companies (especially in the healthcare space) and was shocked at how over-simplistic and shallow the republican questioning was at the congressional hearing. There was so much more they could have asked Zuck while he was under oath.5d0
- The shallow questioning was surely intentional.
It was the tech companies that interfered with the election. And they used foreign nationals to do it (guest workers).
The light questioning let politicians put tech companies on the ropes without directly revealing the fact that the only Russians successfully interfering were the Russians who co-founded Google (and other companies).
It also attempted to cover up the fact that the politicians were buying that data for elections.
Notice Facebook and Twitter no longer sell political ads in Washington State?
- Nobody at Facebook is interested in cautionary tales. They’re only interested in playing Emperor’s New Clothes with a witless CEO.
