How long does fb Seattle take to inform the hiring decision.
It took them 7 business days to say no to me. What an excruciating time it was I had cleared a couple of steps of the hiring process
Lol. With the amount of Microsoftees trying to escape the shithole and knocking on FB's door they can be as selective as they want. God bless Microsoft for being such a shitty work place that everyone just wants to escape it.
Hell yeah brother! We're all trying to escape this fuckhole while this moron Satya builds a new campus for his retarded fucktarded yes men! Fuck this fucking shithole!
Im amazed by how shitty he is as a CEO and yet how good he is at making everyone think that he's a hotshot. I wouldnt appoint him as the CEO of a store selling ice cubes to eskimosi people in greenland. But i guess no one asked my opinion.
I got offer 9 business days after interview, that is, two weeks after.
I got a vaguely positive email from the recruiter this afternoon and I’m trying to not over analyze it.
What does it say?
This was in response to my follow up email: “Thanks for following up and no need to thank me. Pleasure was all mine! Hope your travels were good. Let’s plan on catching up by end of week!” Use if exclamation points seem kinda positive to me.
I got confirmation that they would make an offer but haven’t received an actual offer yet. I’ve been told they’re slammed trying to push through the current batch of hires before the year ends so it’s taking longer than normal. On the good side, it sounds like my recruiter is fighting the good fight to get me higher comp so while it’s agonizing to wait, it does feel good that I have someone pushing for me to get a great deal. Hopefully everything gets resolved in time for me to put in my 2 weeks notice before I take off for vacation.
If it's like the process at FB Menlo Park, then it's a long excruciatingly painful wait. The recruiter kept telling me he'd have something tomorrow or the next day but that kept dragging on. When I was convinced it was going to be a no, they said yes. I'm E6 and it was an enormous "hell yes" from the hiring committee and it still took like 2 weeks... So don't lose hope if they take long, they're just slow -- lots of hiring.
How did you learn “it was an enormous hell yes”? Can you check your interview feedback after joining FB?
@Capitalone no you can't. @yolo the whole delay was probably due to one bad interviewer delaying submitting feedback for a long time (we're supposed to submit them within 24 hours).
I contacted the hr after 2 days but no response yet. Not sure if it is a positive or negative sign.
Facebook recruiters are awesome. They will get back to you soon enough
I got an offer before I even left campus back to the airport. It took 24h to get numbers though.
Dang! Go you!
