I interviewed for Facebook data engineering manager position around May 2nd week. I felt it went well. I got feedback couple of weeks later saying "all liked you but they are looking are more manger experience, so they are not accepting for this position, but since they thought you are good candidate..we are taking your package and sending it other teams and requirement."..recruiter also mentioned it might take like month...But some point they might reject if they are not able to find a team... Now its july, recruiter has not been responding to my emails like 4 of them...my referral says the application status is interviewing.. Have anyone faced this?
Can you share what they asked ?
What recruiter provides if good enough..But ( my recruiter ) and I made mistake under representing my manger experience and more tech...I could have easily shown and talked management... The reason this situation is becoz they thing I am good technical than manger...So balance

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
You can try to get the internal referrer to ping recruiter/referral support contacts, or even the recruiter directly if hes comfortable doing so.
