Is it cheaper to eat chipotle everyday than buy groceries ?
I’ve been asked to meet the hiring manager after on-site interview, what questions should I expect?
Ask recruiter.
Are you sure it's an interview? If you're a good candidate it's possible the recruiter arranged this call to pitch FB to you.
What’s your level?
I did one of these and they want me to come on site to Cali. Tbh I don’t want the stress and my current TC is good for a front end dev. What is the draw of going to Fb? Just name recognition?
Level 6 , recruiter said they will be able to go to next step only after this discussion so I guess it is an interview.
I can think of 3-4 different reasons why this could happen and there are probably 100 that I've never seen. But the packet must be reasonable otherwise they wouldn't be giving you the time of day. "Good engineer but meh" is not uncommon at that level. Basically, you pass the hiring bar, but nobody wants to take your packet through to review.
Thanks ! So what happens during the discussion with hiring manager?

Curious to know what was in the interview and the outcome of the entire process?
