Facebook offer letter
Hi guys, I was told by the FB recruiter that I will be receiving an official offer in a week after all the signing is done and stuff. The recruiter also took my address (I am assuming address to be put the offer letter). Is it normal to wait a week and all the signing and stuff takes time? Could anything change now? Plz advise. Thanks

Hey if you read my comments at the bottom, I mention that I haven’t got the comp amount or anything yet. All, the recruiter said was that the offer is in approval stages and once signed by director and some other executives, ill get it in the email and then we can talk. Have some patience and plz don’t jump to conslusions. I am new to Blind so didn’t see how I can reply on a particular comment.

My recruiter just let me know he was going to send through some 'swag'. What do they send you?

The recruiter didn’t say what the offer was, she said the formal offer will have all the details and then we can talk some more.
Swag and offer in a few days,/week is normal. They have a separate committee that does that and they have a queue. Swag is from the recruiter, T-shirt, mugs, etc
Oh you mean FB does send that to the hired candidates? I think if they do, it’ll be after the offer acceptance. If I end up accepting the offer..

Quick question, can an offer still be made if the candidate didn't do as well in system design round? Or is that round more critical? Thanks.

Yes, completely normal. What's the offer?
Did not get the comp amt or anything yet. Just a call saying Hiring team would love to move forward and the offer is in approval stage to be signed by directors and stuff.
