Facebook onsite coding interviews

Recruiter told me that there will be two coding interviews of 45 minuets each. They will have one question if problem is hard and two if easy. My question is, generally how are they structured? One interview with one hard, other with two medium? Both hard? Both medium? Or random?

It's up to each interviewer. Those numbers are only rough estimates anyway, there's no rule about how many questions you get.

    • Do they actually type the code you write into a compiler after the interview and run it? Is that common?

Unlikely. They might do that if you used an unfamiliar language feature in a way that they were skeptical about but didn't know enough to point it out in the interview. But they don't expect your code on the whiteboard to be free of typos.
