Hey everyone, I am trying my best to get into a big N and I noticed a posting for Facebook's rotation program. I have a non traditional background of EE turned software engineer after doing a bootcamp. A recruiter reached out to me for the intially screening and I'm starting to get excited for the opportunity. This program seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, mentorship to fill in the gaps in my knowledge from doing a bootcamp and only working at early stage start ups instead of doing CS and working internships at a big N. Any advice or pointers for what the recruiters and interviewers are looking for would be appreciated! My approach is to show them what I have done in the past few years and talk about why I made the switch into software. I'm very curious what's to be expected of in the interviews? Will it be just as hard as new grad positions?
How did it go? I have a similar background to you and was recently accepted after a lot of LC
Did you get any System Design questions?
Hey did you pass the interview?
EE is not non traditional lol. If anything that’s the MOST traditional major for software 😂
leetcode?
That's a given
