Eff Facebook, why does everyone want to work for them? Indeed is at least adding value to the world. I know folks at both and Indeed is way more human and life-balanced. I’d go with Indeed.

This post is useless. There isn't a decision to be made until you get TC to compare.

You’ll be surprised by how much SE3 for indeed can go up to. And it’s smaller so you could have more impact.

Id have said FB if it's regular swe but if you're working on internal tools like IT you may not learn much compared to indeed. Tough choice. I'd still lean towards FB for the resume boost

I have enough of good companies on my resume so don’t need resume booster at all. Exactly, my doubt is internal team vs engineering

Then go for Indeed assuming comp works out. Talk to ex FB folks in Indeed Seattle

If you care about money, FB will prob beat Indeed. Fb is also better for prestige if that's something you value. Otherwise, indeed is better for wlb, company goal, and opportunity to make a big impact as a en engineer.

It’s hard to make make a suggestion without more information. FB should definitely pay more and give you access to learn from a lot of talent and tech. Indeed is smaller and might give you greater responsibility. But not knowing what you genuinely like and what your goals are, it’s a hard decision. I’ll say Facebook will give you a legs up in future employability.

Thanks for giving this insight. Indeed has grown drastically after acquisition. So wondering will there be any future impact on this extension?
FB is struggling with Execs exits so not sure which one to pick for.

Yup just same redundant work and pushing the release in hush hush. Getting to staff engineer needs a strong tech skills, which I myself feel that I am not fit for. Need to work on my skills for next 2 yrs
