I am about to get the offers from both? Need suggestions to pick one and say bye to LinkedIn? Current TC 290k Position Senior Software Engineer Exp: 9 yrs Applied for Senior Software Engineer only FB for their internal app team called productivity which is not R&D(Engineering) Indeed for R&D
Whatโs SSE? Choose Facebook anyway.
Why are you leaving LinkedIn? Just interested to know. Iโd choose fb
I would like to upgrade my tech skills but, these days I m doing TPM and managerial work. Even if I continue doing that, I wonโt be getting Staff/Mgr role here
Did you find you were not learning any new thing? Was it just same old work? Why werenโt you going to get staff role? Is it hard?
This post is useless. There isn't a decision to be made until you get TC to compare.
Itโs hard to make make a suggestion without more information. FB should definitely pay more and give you access to learn from a lot of talent and tech. Indeed is smaller and might give you greater responsibility. But not knowing what you genuinely like and what your goals are, itโs a hard decision. Iโll say Facebook will give you a legs up in future employability.
Thanks for giving this insight. Indeed has grown drastically after acquisition. So wondering will there be any future impact on this extension? FB is struggling with Execs exits so not sure which one to pick for.
I don't think indeed will be able to match your current tc
Id have said FB if it's regular swe but if you're working on internal tools like IT you may not learn much compared to indeed. Tough choice. I'd still lean towards FB for the resume boost
Eff Facebook, why does everyone want to work for them? Indeed is at least adding value to the world. I know folks at both and Indeed is way more human and life-balanced. Iโd go with Indeed.
Fb.
