Last week I went onsite at Amazon’s Seattle office, for SDE II. The problems were fine, experience and feedback was positive, however I was told they won’t move forward. Felt like lost hope after all these preparation but I can not even pass an Amazon interview.
It’s one company. You’ve already prepared, just apply to others. Nobody has a 100% success rate.
This
" I can not even pass an Amazon interview." Maybe this attitude was the problem? You underestimated Amazon too much. Amazon interview complexity varies alot depending on team you are in. LC and keep trying everywhere. Best of luck.
This. Despite the bad rep Amazon gets here, it's still one of the top tech companies in the world. The bar is not really that low.
This was a faux-pas for me. I’ve changed my attitude since
I just blacklisted Amazon from my list to interview. They provide no feedback after interviews. At least, the Google recruiter gave me clear points to work on. No point interviewing again if you don’t know what went wrong previously. Lots of the other companies to interview !
When you are done interviewing, your blacklist will have a lot more additions. It’s silly to blacklist; it’s not their responsibility to tell you.
It actually is. You are investing a lot of time and effort interviewing at a company and it’s a two-way street. It’s literally the LEAST that a company can do to give feedback in a rejection. It’s simple common courtesy.
Try Salesforce
That’s fine, I failed amazon but got offer from fb, google and uber, interviews are random
It's fine, you were overqualified. Try Albertsons
It's okay. U won't get everything what you wish for... That's the bitter truth. Btw.. Wanna try at Cognizant? Lol....
Keep trying. Try some other companies. There are thousands of them
What is LP?
All hail philosopher-emperor bezos and his teachings! Indeed, monkeying some lucky dotcom survivor douchebags ramblings is preferable to a bunch of fancy puzzles that might actually be relevant
Amazon doesn’t provide feedback.
