Hi everyone, I recently graduated from college in CS, tried starting my own startup (and rejected all fulltime offers) and ran out of capital. I had an internship with one of big 4 in undergrad. I feel like I have made a major mistake. Most companies don’t start hiring for a couple more months, and I’m not sure what to do.
Start applying now. You will always learn from mistakes. Good luck!
companies hire year around, apply.
Just apply.. they hire year around
Be proud of yourself for having the balls to do that. Most just aspire to be cogs in the wheel. Apply for jobs, send us your resume, you'll get in Somewhere.
Ah dumb child. Just apply for some jobs.
1 or 2 months is nothing in your whole career of 40 years. Be patient. Network, talk to seniors, apply and prepare. U will look back at this time and laugh. Also dont shy away from mentioning your start up. It does not matter that it failed, 90%+ do. What matters is what u learned from the experience, so definitely talk about it.
Ya you’re screwed. Prob should get a job at ihop or McDonald’s as a waiter/cashier and work your way up the ladder in those companies. Sorry man, you ruined your chances. Literally there’s no way back to a successful life now
