Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
I am currently taking with a FB recruiter but was told the general SDE and ML roles requires no less than 5 YOE, some friends around me are also notified this restriction as well. However, I do have one example from my friend who just received an offer from FB with 3 yoe (we applied around the same time), she was able to get an interview with both SDE and ML roles. Is there any secret rules about why different people get different feedback?
Could be a junior hiring freeze but 5 YOE seems like a high bar
5-6 YOE min hiring bar is specifically in California offices.
I have recently tried to refer one of my friend through referral tool and couldn’t because open positions require 5 yoe min.
What? They hire even fresh grads. Are you targeting a particular level?
