Had onsite last week and passed debrief this week. Heading towards candidate review. Does anyone know what happens during candidate review and how likely is it going to overturn debrief's hire decision?
What's debrief? Candidate review seems similar to Google's hiring committee.
This is the process at Facebook for years. What would be a better process than this one?
It's not likely they would overturn the hiring decision. Would have had to be a fluke bad interview panel. They usually review performance and level. IIRC a different committee does comp not it has been a while since I was there.
Is it possible to get rejected by comp team?
Lets just say its a positive step forward. Most recruiters dont want to say if its a good chance or not due to maybe coming back as a reject then the candidate would feel really bad for having his hopes up.
