Feedback for bad coworkers

When bad employees ask u for feedback as part of forte or through other means and u have nothing good to say or u think they have no good qualities which are worthy to mention what do u respond? A coworker asked me for forte feedback and i did have a lot of improvement feedback to provide but i couldnt find anything positive to report.

You can write constructive criticism in a way that is positive. Just write your real feedback in a word doc somewhere and then think about how you would rephrase it as a goal or area of weakness the employee could learn to improve. You can also just deny the request.

Reject the feedback

There's a rule that I live by - if you have nothing good to say, keep your mouth shut. (Learned it from someone who had a lot of experience building community and rapport with strangers on the internet.)

Best advice so far. Anything you say can be used against you. If you shut up there is no space for interpretation. Having said this, forte feedback doesn't really matter. So responding to such a request can't really harm.

May be able to focus on a specific project that they did well in. You can mention something positive that they did or helped out in.
