Looks like you may be interviewing for the SOX team or within the accounting team. I interviewed last month for Internal Audit focusing on SOX but had other offers to choose from so decided not to go ahead. Nothing compared to the public accounting hours (I m ex EY too). Work is cyclically busy. Not sure of the culture but seems to fall short on pay compared to competitors but still a sizeable jump from EY. Good luck..
No cons per se. My preference was to have a team under me since I was managing a fairly large team at EY. The interview process was straightforward, focused on my experience. If you are IT Risk Assurance be ready to talk of your experiences in implementation and home grown apps. Other offers ranged from ~200k - 255k TC. Offers were in Bay area and Seattle.
Btw I never got reached the offer stage with Tesla since I withdrew prior to that. That was my impression I got from the HR discussion and talking to others and from Blind
Yes I am. Pay comparison also depends on the level and competing offers. I was up for a SM at EY n had multiple offers so could negotiate. Everything else being equal, IA (Assurance) may be a lil lesser than IT..
