Finding housing in SF

I think I’m going to be offered a job in SF and will have to relocate quickly. How long does it take to find an apartment in or near the financial district? I believe my base will be about $200k and I don’t have a family. Or, should I live in temporary corporate housing until I have time to find a regular apartment? Thanks.

If temporary corporate housing is an option, I would recommend that. It will give you time to explore some neighborhoods and see where you want to sign a lease. With $200k base, you’ll be able to comfortably afford an apartment anywhere in the city.

Thanks! My office will be in Rincon Park. I may look for temporary corporate housing nearby.

Take corporate housing for a few weeks. Explore the city and check out other neighborhoods. FiDi is prob great for commute but the neighborhood kind of stinks imo.

Finding a good apartment around here can take time. Take the corporate housing while you work the problem.
