Finding job on h4 EAD
Asking for my wife. Got few years work experience at Infosys. How to look for jobs in the Bay area? Will she be eligible for only contract jobs? Please share what has worked for someone in similar situations.

I know spouses who did manage to find a gig. Visa is not the major problem(you don’t even need to mention unless asked explicitly that you are on H4 EAD, just mention to recruiter that you are authorized to work in US). But finding a job is not easy. Major challenge is overcoming the roadblock of “no US experience”. The ones I know who did manage to get a job had it real tough. Persevered for months, even worked for free/volunteered before they landed up with a decent paying gig. And they were highly qualified and talented(went to top schools but not in US) P.S no idea about consultancies (or the shady ones there)
