9:00 a.m. finished my morning coffee but the anxiety had overtaken my appetite. My nerves were uncontrollable. I walked into the building and I was greeted by an intimidating, large, bearded man, who proceeded to take me to the interview room. My heart started beating rapidly. My dream job, my dream company, I knew I had to give it my all. I had already rejected an offer from google and I knew that this was my destiny. I took a deep breath, and just like that, it was over. Intense focus. Intense ambition. I had performed better than I had on all of my previous interviews combined. I was walked out by the same large man, who was now sweaty and blown away at how well I performed. Anticipating my offer, waves of paranoia and fear led me down a dark path. And then it came. An email from Albertsons corporate HR. Rejected. I broke down. Intense emotion, worse than any feeling I ever experienced in my entire life. Why. How could this happen. My life was ruined. Suddenly, I opened my eyes. It was all a dream. I happily wiped the tear from my eye and put on my best Albertsons shirt. Another good day, another blessed moment, working at Albertsons, the only place I would ever call home.
5/10
You know you fucked up if you're walking out of the Albertsons interview thinking you did well.
They asked me about ligma for the first interview
Albertsons is the ultimate dream company.
I understand that you were nervous, but why the hell was the large man sweaty lol. Regardless, any pointers on how best I can prep? I'm thinking mostly leet hard as warm ups, then transition to ICPC hards, and then finally finish off with P/NP proofs. Will this land me telephonic interview?
I'm sure you can ask Google to take you back and they'll do it in a heartbeat, since you made it to the Albertson's onsite interview. That alone is priceless. Expect an intense debriefing session after you start, they'll want to extract as much knowledge about Albertson's tech as possible.
Lmao this thread provides the lulz
Thanks for the pointers man. I have mine coming up in a few weeks. I don't want to mess this up.
No. We are talking about the 8th wonder of the world.
