How do you deal with flight anxiety? Not really in the mood for a drink. Discuss.
I had mild aviophobia for about 7 years. What helped me was to just load my laptop with TV series and movies and watch them on the flight with very good earphones. No alcohol. Light eating only.
Music, reading, inflight entertainment? Chit chat with your neighbor, flight attendant. Anything that gets you distracted. Sometimes I just ✍️ some ideas or thoughts on a piece of paper or type away on my laptop. If by drink you mean ‘alcoholic’ drinks, you can always get a ginger ale, juice or water. Avoid caffeine.

I can relate to this. I hate turbulence. I focus on watching something or reading to distract myself.
There are pills for it. Talk to your doctor.
Valium or Seroquel
Oddly I didn't used to be, but fear of heights and flying has been growing on me as I get older. I'd recommend good headphones with noise cancellation and listen to an audiobook. Music can get tiresome and repetitive on long flights and its easy for your mind to wander. Audiobooks keep you focused and you quickly notice to pull yourself back if all the sudden you're confused about what's happening.
There’s a very popular book about treating your fear of flying called Soar by Bunn. He explains why flying is safe and some airlines have extremely few problems
Might check it out, thanks!
Take 2 Tylenol, then pass out on the ✈️
Before flying, try skydiving first /s
Not sure if cereal. I wouldn’t dare to go skydiving at this point unless I was doing it in Hawaii.
