Anyone deal with really annoying floaters in your eyes? Has anyone gotten a successful treatment. I have been told it's not worth the risk. But they are so annoying.
Some are permanent. Risky procedure to blast them - like that Atari game Asteroids, they just fragment to smaller ones
I have lots of floaters. But unless I am looking at the blue sky or some uniform color, I don’t notice them.
Yes that's my main problem, I spend a lot of time looking at a white background which can't be changed.
I just ignore them, took a while though. Looks like small puffs of smoke in my vision. Hard to see in most light.
Practice looking out in green and daylight. Will Help Overcome.
Hm ok I'll try that.
What helped me a lot is cutting my caffeine intake. More than 2-3 cups a day is seriously unhealthy and not just for eyes. Also don't forget about all caffeinated soft drink crap (cola, red bull, etc), it's just as bad
Is there really a link?? I do consume a lot of caffeine.
I think I tend to notice floaters more when caffeinated. And there were some studies which linked caffeine to increased eye pressure and glaucoma risks.
It's like tinnitus. No cure. If they bother you when using computer use dark mode as much as possible.
Tinnitus blows. Actually, mine screeches. I’m listening to it now as I write this. I seriously wanted to kill myself when it started 4 years ago. Fell to my knees and cried multiple times. It’s just as bad now but it doesn’t upset me like that anymore. But my god it would be so fucking incredibly great to shut the goddamn thing off. It does not stop!!🧠👂☠️
Have you had an eye scan taken? I had this once and it was a minor haemorrhage in my retina... It healed by itself in a few weeks. It can be more serious than that though, so I suggest you get the eye scan if you haven't already
You should get rid of the red blood cells. They is the only cure
I've had permanent ones for years, but only find them to be a minor annoyance so I haven't looked in to getting rid of them.
Eyes just filters it out in few weeks. First 2 - 3 weeks are annoying
