Folks who decided to have kids, why?

I am 27 now and I don’t have that primal need or urge to have kids. What led you to decide to have kids?

Fear of loosing sexual capacity while working in high tech companies

Apple brlol OP Sep 20, 2019

That doesn’t make sense. Why would you lose your sexual capacity working in a tech company?

The stress takes a toll on your health

Cadence 👄Bu Sep 20, 2019

Why do we have to answer to you?

Roku cruella Sep 20, 2019

You don't! Are u one of those people who leave product answers on Amazon: "don't know. Never tried this product"

Cadence 👄Bu Sep 20, 2019

OP is being condescending! And you are being foolish if you fail to see that.

Unsure what to do with that enormous TC

Apple brlol OP Sep 20, 2019

What’s your TC?

Honestly I always just knew I would have kids and it’s crazy how much life gets better, In a different way because it’s not always easy.

Apple brlol OP Sep 20, 2019

Life gets better after having kids?? How so?

Ecolab streeming Sep 20, 2019

Only speaking for me here. But satisfaction goes up. You learn to love much deeper. It’s like joy vs happiness if that makes any sense.

Try harder to empathize with those who have big families, or those to whom family life is very important. It's quite clear by your use of "primal need" and "urge" that familial bonds are not very important to you (and that's also fine, but be less condescending).

There goes the cow into mud pool again .. do you guys at Microsoft always feel underpaid and philosophical on weekend nights

To compensate for not being 100% in control of something all throughout their high TC low control lives.

Apple brlol OP Sep 20, 2019

RIP kids whose parents are like that

Google jbcxag Sep 20, 2019

Didn't want to have too much generation gap with my child. By the time they are independent, we would still have strength and money to enjoy life.

Intel Irod05 Sep 20, 2019

Ok google, only if your company spares us with non-stop ads on YouTube .. I mean I watch 5 min video with 3 ads

Ecolab streeming Sep 21, 2019

Seriously and Wework is the worst I see 3 of the same ads on all videos.

The reasons are manifold, but not that important. When you actually have kids, life becomes more meaningful. When you lose them, you’ll go through hell.

Intel Irod05 Sep 20, 2019

Seagate , what logic do you guys use in your technology .. I am starting to wonder ... why would you loose you kids before they loose you

Seagate toti420 Sep 20, 2019

Your question is as pathetic and incoherent as your grammar.

I don’t have kids but my main reason would be to leave something that outlives me and carries on the knowledge and things I believe in. Kids are the only thing that really continues to endure once we are dead. Everything else is dust, split up, and sold as soon as we hit the ground if you know what I mean.

Intel Irod05 Sep 20, 2019

No we don’t know what you mean ... btw which company is that ... and what knowledge and things you guys produce that will outlive you ...

Instructure OUtj13 Sep 20, 2019

Gotta step your leetcode skills up to understand the meaning.
