Folks who decided to have kids, why?
I am 27 now and I don’t have that primal need or urge to have kids. What led you to decide to have kids?
Fear of loosing sexual capacity while working in high tech companies
Why do we have to answer to you?

Honestly I always just knew I would have kids and it’s crazy how much life gets better, In a different way because it’s not always easy.

Only speaking for me here. But satisfaction goes up. You learn to love much deeper. It’s like joy vs happiness if that makes any sense.
Try harder to empathize with those who have big families, or those to whom family life is very important. It's quite clear by your use of "primal need" and "urge" that familial bonds are not very important to you (and that's also fine, but be less condescending).
To compensate for not being 100% in control of something all throughout their high TC low control lives.
RIP kids whose parents are like that
Didn't want to have too much generation gap with my child. By the time they are independent, we would still have strength and money to enjoy life.
The reasons are manifold, but not that important. When you actually have kids, life becomes more meaningful. When you lose them, you’ll go through hell.
I don’t have kids but my main reason would be to leave something that outlives me and carries on the knowledge and things I believe in. Kids are the only thing that really continues to endure once we are dead. Everything else is dust, split up, and sold as soon as we hit the ground if you know what I mean.
No we don’t know what you mean ... btw which company is that ... and what knowledge and things you guys produce that will outlive you ...
