Just booked hotel in San Diego for the holidays. Going with my wife. Any food/restaurants recommendation? Other than the famous BBQ, which I have had several times already.
Star lounge, Blue Water seafood, Cucina Urbana for lunch/dinner near downtown area. Snooze, Hash House A go go for brunch in Hilcrest
You are from Qualcomm. I believe you!
I left Qualcomm a few weeks ago 😉
If you like Mexican food, hole in the wall places like El Cotixan, Roberto's, for California Burritos. Jake's Del Mar is good for higher end -- right on the beach and a sister restaurant to Duke's and other T's Restaurants in Hawaii. Get the Hula Pie for dessert. For high end sushi, Sushi Ota at Pacific Beach is the best sushi in San Diego.
What about Oscar’s Mexican Seafood? The smoked fish taco and tuna taco there are unreal
I think I have heard about Jake's Del Mar. Thank you!
Mexican and seafood is all you need in San diego
I used to live in San Diego, and I would definitely recommend (if you're willing to splurge a bit) to go to Addison in Del Mar. Five star fine dining, but dang is it worth it! Problem is you need reservations way in advance...
Will try to get a spot there!
A bunch of good spots on Coronado Island - Coasterra is a good spot In La Jolla - George’s by the cove, WhiskNLadle, Puesto - definitely check out sunset cliffs while you’re there Pueblo in Pacific Beach If you like Ramen, Tajima Ramen House on Convoy - nothing too fancy but the Ramen is delicious
Thanks a ton!
