Got a full loop coming up soon. Non tech. Been rejected by AMZN twice already for not having good enough LP stories. I learned my lesson and have now come up with 2-3 STAR stories for each LP but am still nervous I'm going to mess up again or they're just not good enough. Asking my family to mock interview me helps but they don't have the skills to ask the right follow up questions that I know my interviewers will be asking me. I guess I'm just looking for some inspiration, motivation, general tips/techniques to not be as nervous, etc Appreciate it in advance.
What are some good sites to read and prepare for LP questions?
I just googled it. Found a plethora of resources with sample questions related to each LP.
How much is the stress on LP’s in phone interview ?
Quite a bit in my experience. Ymmv
Hey, same here. When is your interview?
I don't want to risk identifying myself with that information But it's pretty soon.
I meant if you had time to rehearse your stories?
How did you register? Did you use your work email id? I have been on their wait list forever!
Good luck!! I interviewed there recently and I was told my answer on one question wasn’t good enough and that was what would have been the make/break. Knowing you’ve gone back for more gives me hope!
That’s crap. Amazon does not grade your score on questions that way.
What position exactly? Maybe I can point you to some resources based on that
Your stories need to align with the position you are interviewing for... try not to have QA/PM examples for a swe position and vice versa even if it is closely aligned. Good Luck!
Good luck. Just keep practicing with whoever you could find.
If you have the LP stories prepared well, you are already half done!
What about the other half?
