For people who work at companies that offer catered breakfast, lunch and dinner - how often do you people actually stay for dinner? Does not having to worry about meals actually make you work longer?
I always get dinner. Sometimes I just eat and immediately leave.
Did u guys just see the news that SF BoS are planning to outlaw cafeterias in companies?
Not that often, unless it's contractors.
Dinner at Google starts at 6:30 pm. People with kids can't stay back for dinner. If you are single it makes sense.
We get seamless credit. I always order and take home.
Dinner here starts at 6. About half the people I work with go. But people only start working around 10-1030 and then leave right after dinner.
At FB I always skipped dinner because the food was always such shit. At Google probably 50/50. Because it starts so late, I have to think hard about wanting to work that late. If something looks really good I will stay otherwise I'll eat at home.
That said, for those willing to travel across campus, Google food is amazing.
