I see this question has been asked in the past without a clear answer. I was recently asked design questions in interviews like design the front end for Facebook, design a search with autocomplete component, a wizard component etc. I have build individual components but don't have experience with how it all fits together. Are there any resources or case studies for this? Thank you! Edit: apart from the components breakdown I was also asked about other aspects like how making the API calls would be handled etc. P.s.: The questions were asked in a React context but I'd imagine this applies to any front end. Also I see many resources for back end system design but for front end literally find nothing.
beta.frontendmentor.io is a great practice site IMO. It's library-agnostic and just poses design challenges.
I’d start with the React docs such as https://reactjs.org/docs/thinking-in-react.html and then read from Dan Abramov’s blog such as https://overreacted.io/react-as-a-ui-runtime/
