Funny “WORKING FROM HOME” excuses given or you read in email/slack
What are the different excuses you have given or have seen/read in email or slack from collegues who are “WORKING FROM GOME” to give interviews. let the game begin. I have run out of excuses now. TC: 300k P.S. I wish there was an option to tag more than 3 companies.
You know the drill TC, religion and family are the only excuses you can have for "working from home". Lol in all seriousness just state you have some personal items you need to take care of they shouldn't need to dig deep if you are just doing phone screens here and there. And if it's a onsite just take the day off

Just ping in chats messaging that I will work from home and be away from so and so time for personal errands
But it would work once or twice. Not more than that.
I just keep it like this and no one seems to care much in my team, as long as work is done. If you need some reasons - flat tire, child sick, child sick so Dr appointment, parents meeting, car service, home maintenance, contractor coming home, hoa meeting, dropping family members to airport or pick them up, you being sick, commute is eating time so wfh will be effective and so on
My team mate once mailed he had to pick up a package so he is wfh and the same excuse was used by three other guys. I am like wtf
Had a guy who called sick to wfh, later in the day he posted a facebook pic watching first day first show movie that day.
I don’t give excuses anymore. I want to wfh. That’s a reason enough
That does make sense to a sensible manager
