I am a son of a legal immigrant, my parents never got any government assistance worked two job to put us through college, didn't have many luxuries. They taught us to not be complainers and work hard to earn our own, without being jealous of what others have. This next generation seems like they want to be in everyones pockets. I hate that about the DNC. The GOP is nuts on their lack of progress with the environment... What do you think the future is for rational people, who feel like participation prizes shouldn't be handed out, and folks should feel pressure to be productive.
I’ve been considering this question as well. I wish there were alternative non fringe options. I also don’t like the centrist label, because i’m not one. The nearest description would be a left leaning libertarian. There is no party that supports that. However a Yang/Tulsi combo is pretty near to my political beliefs.
You should support election reform to fix the game theory of first past the post and the electoral college, which compress our political landscape into one dimension by design. Fairvote is the biggest org I'm aware of working on fixing our election process
