Cleared all interviews. submitted pre-packet info for HC. Non engineering role. Not a program manager. Business role what is the high range for L6. I have strong feedback from all interviewers, Hiring manager and also Skip level hiring manager. HC needs to approve. Need help from some of the experts to negotiate better. Base - What is the highest base for L6? Bonus - 20% , any room for negotiation? Stock - what would be the highest total grant for 4 years? Sign on bonus? Current TC - $365K , Sr. leadership position, $230K base, 35% bonus, rest all RSU. Yoe- 16 years

Your recruiter didn't provide a range? He/she should be able to provide a range for the position.
If you dont have an offer, they will lowball you. Yes you can provide an "expected number" (do your research) but they wont go up to that. The real power is a competing offer. A median for L6 in SV should be around 430k for tech role.
If you're willing to walk away and they want you then they improve their numbers. GCP seems to be desperate to hire anyone.

Why are women naked in gym?
First you need to pass HC. It's still 50/50 even if you think that your interview was great. If you think that it was just good then it's closer to 0. Recruiters almost always submit your packet to HC, doesn't mean anything.
What is the basis for HC approvals. I assume it’s the interviewers feedback
Heard anecdotally that HC approvals are higher bec recruiters are doing a better job filtering (so more rejection earlier?).. can anyone confirm?
