General levels of energy

Sep 8 16 Comments

Early 30s and after a normal day and 40 min commute and a moderate workout, I feel pretty done by the time I am home.
I'm single and try to eat well usually.
What is your level of energy?

Pretty low. Normally work, lift, then get high af and watch TV. Some days I'll go to shows.

Key was reducing commute. I have a 3 month old so I don’t get much sleep, but I work, lift at lunch, come home to help relieve my wife taking care of baby. The commute changing from 45 min driving to 20 min bus ride gave me way more energy.

“Do one thing” is Indian English and is not understood here. It makes no sense.

    #7 on the list

The 'do one thing' in the poll is not used in the same context as in the article. I would not consider them the same contextually.

It means you have energy to do one activity then go to sleep.

Exactly same. 30, single, 40 min commute. A normal day is 5 hours of work, yet I am tired (and hungry) once I am home. I push myself to go to the gym, but am only successful twice or thrice a week on that. I eat and sleep well.

You guys feel this low energy affects marriage or dating? Like all I wanna do is stay home and read or watch movie and sleep.

If they also like to stay home and read/watch Netflix then it's all good. If you're dating someone that constantly wants to go out then it's much harder.

True. But this work does make people tired usually. Just wanna stay in and if the girl doesn't work, she wants to do other things

That's one way or total? Also, just drive or public transport?

Sleep is very key 😴. You need at least 7 hours of sleep every night no matter who you are, 8 probably even better. I know it seems like Netflix would he know fun in the end, but it's not. My brain perceives fun way more when I'm not sleep deprived. I feel good, for me I have like a be 15-30 minute commute, so maybe that helps?
